read this:

koufos is totally a danny ainge guy. cheap contract 9 mill over 3 years. former slam magazine high school 3rd team all-american. wins per48 mins is fairly high at .163 and has 12 points, 11 rebounds per 36mins.

how about timofey mozgov? sign and trade keeyon dooling? the guy has one year left on a deal at 3 million this season, which is what the sign and trade of dooling would start at i believe.

if denver's frontcourt is so crowded, maybe we can strike a deal.

EDIT: i just checked espn trade machine and apparently koufos cant be traded until january 15. he has some sort of restriction on his contract.

i would pull the trigger immediately on that if that was the asking price.

I would do that do but i suspect that denver will get better offers. They may want 2 picks

cap wise they should be able squeeze him in with steamer, i have them at 70.15 with steamer, people have them higher but they may be including the portion paid by the league with wilcox salary which i believe doesn't count. Adding koufos and losing steamer would take it up to the 72 mill mark which would be below the apron and still enough to add a couple of min contracts.

Denver have a surplus of big men. I could see them making one of these guys available midway through next season at a cheap asking price.

I think they get a first rounder for Koufos or a pair of second rounders for Mozgov (or a comparable role player talent wise, probably a wing). Karl seems higher on Koufos so I expect it'll be Mozgov that they look try and move.

The main issue with Mozgov though is that he still needs quite a bit of development. More of a band aid than a genuine solution to the Celtics need.

Can't quite put my finger on it, but isn't Mozgov famous for some particular reason...?
