Im guessing Barnes is still out there. I know Danny wanted him so would he be an upgrade over Lee and Pietrus?

No interest in Barnes as a SG. He is a one position player (SF). I'd rather sign a true SG to backup that position.

I think Barnes would make a very strong fifth wing in the depth chart but I don't think he'd sign on board for that role. He'll want more minutes.

Hmm. Not a terrible idea. I don't see a problem with it. Salary works, tall SG/SF with three-point range, bench player and starter.

Unless I'm missing something, go for it Danny!

Meh.

He was a lot of fun to watch on the We Believe Warriors, but that was five years ago.

He'd be an upgrade over Pietrus.

You'd think Pietrus is a 40 year old about to enter retirement

Living in L.A. County, I've seen a lot of Lakers games, and Barnes, over the past couple seasons, would have a good game about once every month or two. Not worth it.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I would pass.

He's not the We Believe Matt Barnes anymore, he's really streaky at best. And that defense lost a step.

Yeah, because KG has never tried to p--- off anyone he's playing against before... ;)

KG and Pietrus fought when he was on the Suns.

Absolutely NO THANKS to Matt Barnes.

He is really not an upgrade on Pietrus.

I wonder how many people are aware that Barnes is two years older than Pietrus.

Difference was it was Barnes who was p---ing off KG. Garnett was pulling a dirty play on Pietrus when they scuffled.

This and Barnes was supposedly a back-up wing that could stop the premier scorers. Then Pierce ripped him apart in the ECF.
