How about Shannon Brown?

Guy can play. He's a little undersized at the 2 but can handle the rock a little, and just a freak athlete. Can hit the open 3 which is big part of this team. I think he could fill in for Bradley while out. What do you guys think of him.

He's only 26, right?

His legs should hold up for a short contract. I'd be worried about his play once he starts to lose his athleticism, but that's a few years down the road barring injury.

I think I like it on paper, but I've never really seen him play over a whole season.

I think he would run well with Rondo and knock down the same corner 3's that Avery did last year. If we bring him in we still need a bigger wing defender like Pietrus.

How about yes? Did you also chastise Shaq when he decided to come to Boston because he was a ex-Laker? All I really care about is who can help our team, and I would LOVE to have Shannon Brown on the team.

Comparing Shannon Brown to Shaq is ludricous.  Both were Lakers one is a first ballot Hall of famer and the other is a journeyman at best.   No to Shannon!

Shaq is a perfect counterargument to this. It completely undermines his argument that former Lakers will be forever unaccepted. Like you said, Shaq is one of the greatest big men of all time. His accolades only strengthen my argument. Shannon Brown was a temporary role player for the Lakers. So it's ok for Shaq to join the Celtics but outlandish for Shannon to do the same? You're absolutely ignorant.
