Who is Better, Gronk or Jimmy Graham?

The NFL Network is doing their top #100 players for 2012 and Gronk was listed at number 21 last night.  Jimmy Graham has yet to be named meaning he will be above Gronk.  The players voted on this, I can't get my head around why people think Graham is better, Gronk was a monster this year and put up better numbers and is a better blocker.

But I am a little biased I suppose

You are hardly biased since I share the same opinion. Is Graham a better receiver who runs better routes? Absolutely. However, Graham is much worse after the catch and infinitely worse when blocking. Shouldn't blocking be half of what determines a TE's value?

The players voted. There is no possible way you could argue Graham is better right now, Gronk has better numbers basically across the board. Graham is a better route runner obviously because he is a WR,TE hybrid like Hernandez is. Gronk had like 18 TDs and is an excellent blocker unlike Graham.

I'd go Jimmy Graham by a hair. Gronk is really physically bullying the defense, Graham can do the same on some account, but he's more athletic. Gronk is a way better blocker but Graham is a better reciever. The athletic ability kind of nudge Jimmy for me, by a hair.

But, Vernon Davis is better than both of them.

Gronk & Graham are essentially 1A & 1B in my book.  I'd say they are about the same although I'm partial to Gronk myself.
