Could we work a deal for OJ Mayo where we sign and traded both Stiemsma, who the Wolves already clearly want, and also one of Pietrus/Dooling? Is this kind of trade even allowed in the league?

I would think a trade like Stiemsma, Pietrus, and either JJJ or a 2013 1st rounder for Mayo is a fair deal, for a player Minnesota doesn't want to retain anyways.

Mayo plays for Memphis, not Minnesota
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

this could also be the framework for a deal with Houston (who may be after Steamer under the radar):

Bos trades: Stiemsma (S/T), Pietrus (S/T), JJJ, 2013 1st rounder

Hou trades: Courtney Lee (S/T), Camby (S/T)

Side note: Would the Celtics be able to also use the BAE in this deal to make the money work if it were off?

haha, ok sorry about blowing it on knowing what team Mayo is on!

But the deal itself (Bos/Mem) would still work.
