The midgets will get minutes (one of them might even start), but I'm guessing that our starting SG will be Paul Pierce... with Jeff Green starting at SF... especially if we pay Jeff Green the rumored 4 years 40 million.  That's starter money... not backup SF money.  

Bradley and Terry will play backup guard duty.  Lack of size is the only thing that's kept Terry from being a consistent starter in the past... and it might be what holds back Avery Bradley as well.

  It didn't hold Bradley back last year, I can't imagine he's gotten much shorter over the summer.

Redd is toast. PHOENIX defense was 7 points worse per 48 with him on the court. Phoenix! He was one of the worst defenders at his position before he blew out the knee, but it was ok if he was scoring 20 PPG. Good size or not, if you want to watch our SG get destroyed in the playoffs, sign him up. He's not even a good scorer any more, he was just chucking last year.

Just don't see how PP can guard a true SG.  He's lost at least a step through the years.  Also when you look at how Doc focuses on D....

Wold love fo rthem to find a way to get Courtney Lee but just don't see it.  A couple of other names to consider may be Shannon Brown, Leandro Barbosa and our own former player Randy Foye..

Pierce won't be able to guard every SG, but guys like Kobe, Wade, Johnson, etc. I think he could do a good job.  It might actually be better for him to guard players of that ilk, than a guy like LeBron.
