He has to replace a star now.  It was different when that star was still on the bench, able to come in and hit a big shot in the 4th quarter.

Now, Bradley is the starter without question when he is healthy.

If it doesn't go well, he will feel the heat.  He will hear constant comparison to Ray because many will feel he is part of the reason Ray is gone.

How he responds to this will say a lot about the player have in Bradley.  We can only hope it is positive.

Yes, he has Terry

He still has KG, Pierce and Rondo.

But his margin for error just got smaller.  Especially if Ray is playing well.

He's not the same player as Ray at all. He doesn't fill the same role. All he has to do is play his game and he'll be fine.

As of now, Bradley is already better than Ray.
Ray sucked in the postseason and don't make the bone spurs injury excuse, Avery was playing with dislocated shoulders.
Celtics fan in Houston.

I don't think there is any added pressure there.

Avery is gonna be out  ALONG LONG TIME.... rehab time is 6 months for this surgery,  he has TWO to rehab.. :-X, thats ALOT of pain and work .  So forget about AB until 2013 .  I look for him back mid -late Jan IF we are LUCKY.  He gas to get his shot , timming and all back up to speed and work his way back ...hopefully he'll be near 100% by playoffs.

We may have to play Moore alot . Moore can handle the ball and shot really well. Yes he is short , but so is JET.and AB

Not really. We have added Jeff Green(hopefully), and Jason Terry. They more than makeup whatever Judas brought to the table. Avery new role could be PG for 2nd unit. Jason Terry can concentrate on scoring. Peaches and Avery lockup people on D.

Bench
Avery
Terry

I disagree. I don't think there is any more pressure. When healthy he proved he can play and handle pressure just fine.

I believe AB will be fine.

He seemed to get more confidence as the season progressed. He should know that he won't replace Ray Allen. No one will.

For that matter I believe his potential is more Joe Dumars than Ray - and he still has another few yrs to reach that potential.

Just play your game, AB. Let Danny fill out the roster with the players we need to contend, and I believe he's going to do just that.
