The idea I had initially was that Ray and KG would finish their careers out in boston and get their numbers retired along with Pierce because of the whole big 3 thing

Now that Ray has left...I'm not sure if he's going to be retired. It'll be weird just having Pierce and KG there...I honestly think only Pierce will be up in the rafters when all is said and done

I think KG is a lock to have his number retired.

Still has a good shot to win another title here.  Turned everything around and really was the heart of the team.  Took a great deal with us this offseason.

One of the great players of all time, IMO best PF of all time. Had a truly great personal career wise and he identifies himself with the team.

I think it's a lock.

I'm believing that Paul is a shoe-in. The only place he's known is BOS.

I'd be shocked if BOS doesn't retire KG's number. If they don't, then I'm sure that Minny will.

I think KG will have his number retired. The fact that he stayed in Boston and never even considered going to another team says a lot about his loyalty. It was Boston or retirement. That says a lot of how being a Celtic means to him.

  • #18 at any cost.
If we get another banner with him, absolutely. Right now, doubtful. But who knows, without him we don't win 17 so I'm sure it'll be up for consideration. And I hope it happens.

This man breathed life back to this storied franchise. Celtics are winning again because of him. No doubt his jersey is going up. I hope he does to Hall of Fame in Celtics jersey.

I think so not only because of him staying but because of how he came in and just changed the team.
Paul has said he's had an influence on everyone from top to bottom on the Celtics heck anyone can see how big of an influence he has been to the team from top to bottom.
He's definitely gonna get retired in Minny no doubt about that for a second.
