First, look at the package your offering then ask you self would you do that deal for Rondo? Now factor in that Howard's value is double that of Rondo's and that only Lebron and Durant can be considered more valuable. To answer the thread question, we don't have the pieces.

You know, I don't necessarily disagree with you.  I am reading online, proposed deals from Atlanta, and NJ (Brooklyn) and Houston, and frankly
I think we have more pieces. That's how deals are made. 
Next thing you know you'll tell me that Kwame Brown will never fetch Pau Gasol!
And Lamar Odom will never fetch Shaquille O'Neal.

Again I ask why not take a shot?

With the media circus, the entourage, (not the one on tv) and the possibility that its a one year rental.  It is kinda like selling your soul to the devil.

not sure even with rondo we have the best rental package(rondo is a love/hate for many gms, see chris paul trade), also coming off back surgery
