Well, Celtics can't sign until July 11. I think they already got a deal in place and are just waiting for July 11.

When his agent is telling everyone that the Celtics are his Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C, I'm not too worried about Green not returning.  I'd imagine the C's want some language in the contract to protect themselves if Green's heart condition becomes an issue again, and Green wants as many dollars as possible to be fully guaranteed.  C's may also be having issues getting the contract insured.  The fact that it's not announced; it's a lot more complicated than most deals.

There's your reason he's not signed yet. He'll be back in due time.

I think Danny Ainge is so confident that a Jeff Green deal is basically done that it isn't his first priority right now. Within the next couple days I bet we hear of some deal that was agreed upon.

I feel pretty confident that Jeff Green will be a Celtic next year.  Ray Allen, on the other hand, not feeling quite so confident.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

The reports are very strong he's coming back, perhaps who the MLE is spent on, plus bird rights of Bass/Allen will effect the dollar amount.

If the C's want to use the full MLE they must stay under 74 million.

It has been strange the way they have been talking about it like its done, but no one has any news on it.  I do wonder if they are waiting to commit until some other shoes fall?
