Wages of Wins on the Draft

For what it's worth, the stats-heads at Wages of Wins went through the entire draft class and ranked the payers based on an assortment of advanced metrics.

I know stats aren't everything, but win shares is a useful measure with a pretty good track record. So, if you trust the stats, the Celtics get some mixed news.

They rank Sullinger as the 9th best player in the draft class, ahead of Kidd-Gilchrist, Thomas Robinson, Dion Waiters, Jeremy Lamb, and others.

On the other hand, Fab Melo is 116th, and Kris Joseph is 111th.

Well, if Melo doesn't get any better than what he showed his last year at Syracuse, he will be a pretty bad NBA player.
