Rumors that Toronto will be sending a contingent to his door at midnight Sunday. Raps may amnesty Calderon if they can land him.

Nash, plus Jonas V, will make the Raps a much better club.

Nash should go to NY or the Lakers. He'd make a big difference and start for those teams.

I think Nash signing on in Toronto would make him a national hero. Beyond starting and helping lead that team into the playoffs for the first time in years, he'd likely be set up for life, with a front office job upon his retirement.

He already has significant input in the Canadian men's Olympic basketball team.

Yeah Canada would have appeal. But Nash is so competitive. I imagine the lure of a contender will be too strong. He deserves to play on the big stage again.

Yes he would... but only on the offensive end.  NY's problems are not on the offensive end, but on the defensive end (obviously).  NY would still be a first-round exit playoff team with Nash on it.  It is for this same fact that I think they would be stupid to sign Ray Allen.  At least D'Antoni is gone though, that guy is horrible.

As for the Lakers, their Achilles heel has been the inability to defend (and produce from) the point guard position.  The Lakers were an improved defensive team under Mike Brown last year, but look for that to regress if Nash gets significant minutes.

Actually, NY was one of the better defensive teams this past season. Their issue was really lack of flow and spacing on the offensive end.

We have a great defensive team, we need his (someones) offense!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Who told that he's a great defender!? We are talking about a good bench point guard to help Rondo and giving more experience in crucial games.

Are you going to pay his contract out of your own pocket. love nash. But at 12 mil and what, 15 minutes a game if that? We can spend our money much wiser in other areas.
