Since the season is over I'm just following a lot of drafttalk. I wanted to make my first own mockdraft

Looking forward what you guys think, hopefully I don't forget any good player in the first round!
Mock draft 2012
1. New Orleans Hornets – Anthony Davis PF 6’10
With the first pick in the 2012 draft, the New Orleans Hornets select Anthony Davis out of Kentucky. Does this need any explanation? One of the best prospects if not the best prospect in the last years. NBA comparison: Kevin Garnett, well that’s something to look forward to, isn’t it?
2. Charlotte Bobcats – Thomas Robinson PF 6’9
I would be very surprised if the Bobcats just take a player at #2 and do nothing with it. They missed on the Unibrow and are likely to deal or move down the pick. If they draft at number 2 they can’t take a gamble, a failure would put them another year behind as they already missed the franchise player in Davis. The safe pick would be Thomas Robinson out of Kansas.
3. Washington Wizards – Bradley Beal SG 6’4
The Wizards are gonna fill another hole in this draft with the selection of Bradley Beal. This guy is gonna be solid and I think he got potential allstar level in him. He just needs to get a little bigger and could improve at ball handling.
4. Cleveland Cavaliers – Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF 6’7
I think MKG is the perfect fit for Cleveland. They need some defense and this kid proved to be a born defender. He could excel to one of the best on the ball defenders. I like the view of seeing him play along Irving and Thompson, with Varejao in the middle they got a descent core. Wasn’t MKG the guy who played with Irving in highschool? But actually I do think the Cavs are going to try to move up and draft Bradley Beal. A 4th + 24th pick for the 2nd pick would really make sense for both teams. As the bobcats can draft everyone it looks like the Cavs are really wanting Beal. He would fit in great with Irving in the backguard because Anthony Parker is just not an option anymore.
5. Sacramento Kings – Harrison Barnes SF 6’8
A knock down jumpshooter is really what the Kings need. They score easily but thought they were the worst shooting team in the league, that’s why they led in offensive rebounding. Harrison Barnes could bring some structure to the Kings offense. Weak defender and that will maybe let them think about Andre Drummond. Because the Kings defense is just horrible. If they put Cousins on the trading block which I think is kinda stupid they maybe take a shot at Andre Drummond.
6. Portland Trail Blazers – Andre Drummond C 6’11
To build arround Lamarcus Aldridge and Andre Drummond makes sense. The Blazers got 4 draft picks and are in need of everything except PF. Andre Drummond is the surprise pick in the draft he could potentially be the best or 2nd best player of this class but could also be a bigtime bust. I see the blazers go after him and draft a guard at 11.
7. Golden state Warriors – Damian Lilliard PG 6’3
The warriors are glad to have this pick, i fit would slide outside top7 it would go to Utah. So it’s time to let the talent work in GSW. The ellis era is over and now it’s time for Curry, Bogut, Lee and Thompson to take over. I think they could use some depth at every position. Damian Lilliard would be a good back up for Curry which is obviously very injury prone. I think Lilliard is the best PG in this class. Mark Jackson will have his fingers crossed to see MKG slide down to 7 and add the defender he really want to have. Hopefully this team stays healthy for just one time.
8. Toronto Raptors – Dion Waiters SG 6’4
The Raptors really need some backcourt, they could go for the shooter in Lamb but I guess they will go after Dion Waiters the prospect from Syracuse. This guy is really athletic and strong, that’s just what the Raptors need because I think they are not though enough. The Raptors are considering to deal the pick for a proven veteran player. Could be an option.
9. Detroit Pistons – John Henson PF 6’10
Detroit made some progress last season but they are still a bad team. They got their center and pointguard. But then they need everything else. I guess they will go for the good PF in John Henson, who is an excelling shotblocker and rebounder. The Pistons defense wasn’t really good last year and Henson could help to improve it.
10. New Orleans Hornets – Jeremy Lamb SG 6’5
Who is gonna join team Anthony Davis. I guess they are going for a small guy. A PG or SG. Could be either Kendall Marshall, Jeremy Lamb or Austin Rivers. I’m going for the Reggie Miller type of player in Jeremy Lamp, this guy can shoot. The Hornets desperately need some offense. They gonna let Bellinelli go and add a better version of him to the team in Lamb. Lamb is also a pretty good defender, really an allround player.
11. Portland Trail Blazers – Austin Rivers SG 6’5
After they drafted Drummond at 6 they got a good core of big guys. Now it’s time to fill the backcourt. I see the blazers at a great scorer in Austin Rivers, leaving Duke just after one year. Doc’s son could be instant offense in this league but really have to get a little bigger and stronger. Next to that he isn’t a good defender yet but I’m sure Doc told him every day that’s it all about defense first.
12. Milwaukee Bucks – Myers Leonard PF/C 7’1
They bucks are gonna draft a big man. They got a great backcourt, got a lot of scoring but obviously had to give up Bogut. Personnly I am really high on Myers Leonard, I think this guy is tough, big guy and pretty athletic. He has to become a better rebounder and add some strength. For a center he got a descent jump shot and is pretty quick. I am taking him over Tyler Zeller. The other potential #12 pick.
13. Phoenix Suns – Terrence Ross SG/SF 6’7
Phoenix will be pretty happy if Terrence Ross is still on the board here. They got a center and need players on kinda every position. They lack (especially in the future) at the SG/SF position and that’s exactly what Ross both can play. Ross is a pretty allround player and got tremendous potential. I’m curious if he will be able to take the next step.
14. Houston Rockets – Perry Jones III SF/PF 6’11
There is like almost no chance the Rockets will keep both picks 14/16. They are always trying to package a big deal and a desperately looking for an allstar. I just don’t see them stick to this pick, they wanna move up or trade both picks for a big time player. As the Rockets always want bigman and Dalembert is not a longtime option they probably will draft Perry Jones the third who got absolutely insane size. Somehow this Baylor guy isn’t a really good defender and need to add some strength as well.
15. Philladelphia 76’ers – Tyler Zeller PF/C 7’0
The Sixers told the media that they going to draft for talent and not for their needs. With their center Spencer Hawes becoming a UFA. They are likely to draft Tyler Zeller here. A pretty good draftpick at 15. This guy is really quick for most other centers and that will give some defenses trouble.
16. Houston Rockets – Marquis Teague PG 6’2
Once Again I don’t see the Rockets hold this pick. But they are clearly interested in PG Marquis Teague. This guy could be twin of Jeff cus their games are pretty much the same. Jeff improved a lot last year, if Marquis can do the same he will become a legit NBA player. Atleast he knows how to run a good team in Kentucky.
17. Dallas Mavericks – Jared Sullinger PF 6’9
This guy was a lottery pick for a long time. But he got some serious back problems lately. This have him falling a lot of places. Dallas will be very happy to get a shot at one of the best talents of this draft. I think Dallas is willing to take it, really because they also got a good chance of scoring the jackpot in FA with Deron Williams. Sullinger is a strong guy who rebounds really well, his potential is really high. Just have to stay healthy and improve.
18. Minnesota Timberwolves – Terrence Jones SF/PF 6’9
Pretty big, strong guy who could really be a mismatch at the SF position. Terrence Jones will be a good role player coming off the bench and good develop in one hack of player who does a lot of dirty things for your team. This guy could be good for the depth of the Timberwolves. Coming in for Love or Derrick Williams, I just got a feeling Beasley is going to play somewhere else.
19. Orlando Magic – Moe Harkless SF 6’8
I am wondering what the new Magic GM is thinking. Well with Moe Harkless not off the board he should be very happy. This guy is a solid player who can be a pretty good role player in the NBA. He is compared a lot to James Posey. Great athleticism, strong and good defender. He could battle Turkuglu for a starting spot and he will be a worthy replacement if Orlando deals him (maybe with Howard).
20. Denver Nuggets – Kendall Marshall PG 6’4
With Andre Miller likely to leave in free agency the Nuggets need a backup for Ty Lawson. They got their guy in Kendall Marshall. Who got great size for the PG position and has proven to be a great leader at North Carolina. His passing ability is off to chart which is a nice thing for a running fast pace team like the Denver Nuggets.
21. Boston Celtics – Royce White SF 6’8
Who are the Boston Celtics gonna draft. I am going for Royce White. I don’t know really care about any promise or whatever is said. But I think this guy will be a fantastic fit for Boston. Strong, big guy with exceptional ball handling for his position. Could play 3 or 4 positions, PG, SF and PF. Will create a mismatch every single game. His anxiety disorder made him slide a lot of places and his defense has to improve as he is not the quickest. I think for his weaknesses Boston will be a good place to repair them. Take White at 21!
22. Boston Celtics – Arnett Moultrie PF 6’11
I would be surprised if the Celtics keep both picks, they maybe will form a package to trade for Josh Smith for example or they will try to move up to secure Royce White or go after a player like Austin Rivers. Assume that they keep the pick I would like them to draft another good rebounder in Arnett Moultrie. I think if the Celtics are able to draft both White and Moultrie which could happen then they have a great night.
23. Atlanta Hawks – Andrew Nicholson PF 6’10
Just a descent and safe pick. You know what you get in Andrew Nicholson, he is pretty allround guy who has some experience. Got a good jump shot. Need to add strength and could improve his rebounding skills.
24. Cleveland Cavaliers – Fab Melo C 7’0
The Big guy from Syracuse. Like I said before it woudn’t surprise me if this picks goes to the Charlotte Bobcats in a trade to let the Cavs pick at #2. I think Fab Melo is a worthy risk at pick number 24. Great defender with his 7 foot/270 frame. He needs to work on his offense and obviously he got some personal issues.
25. Memphis Grizzlies – Tony Wroten PG/SG 6’6
This guy could be the steal of the draft. I like this PG/SG from Washington. He got tremendous size, great work ethic and got some talent. It’s a question if he is yet NBA ready but I would take a gamble on this player. Would fit in nice with Memphis could backup Mike Conley & Tony Allen really good.
26. Indiana Pacers – Quincy Miller SF 6’10
Big guy who could step in for David West and maybe Roy Hibbert if they have to sit. Good size and wingspan and could improve a lot. He is not the fastest guy on the floor. Could be as good as Hansborough for the Pacers.
27. Miami Heat – Festus Ezeli C 6’11
The heat need rebounding and a big guy and that’s what they get in Festus Ezeli. Pretty strong center out of Vanderbilt. Absolutely NBA ready and got a strong body. Missing speed but defensive he will be the right guy for Miami.
28. Oklahoma City Thunder – Jeff Taylor SF 6’7
The Thunder could become very formidable defensively on the wings with Thabo Sefolosha and Taylor. Pretty good player who easily could have gone earlier.
29. Chicago Bulls – Evan Fournier SG 6’6
The first international player of this draft. He good shooter who can step in for Rip Hamilton. Alright size for a SG and can knock down threes. Missing strength and defense.
30. Golden State Warriors – Will Barton SG/SF 6’6
The Warriors will like the scoring punch from one of the Draft sleepers, a long, athletic junior who needs to get stronger and add range to his shot.
