Rarely have I seen such a travesty in the world of sports as the split decision in this fight. The only two people in the
world who saw a Bradley victory were the two who scored it as such, (and I doubt that even
they saw it that way, in reality).
Technically there's very little that can be done, other than the rematch clause that has been invoked, (I believe), but I truly hope there's still some way that we get to see what
should be the ultimate match: Pacquiao vs Mayweather.
This has been a horrendous weekend for me, especially where sports are concerned ... seems the Nevada Gaming Commission and the NBA draw their officiating "experts" from the same overwhelmingly biased and unsagacious talent pool.
Time for intramural hoops, golf, fishing, water sports, and competitive Frisbee at the beach, I guess, (*sigh*). Just wish I had
something positive from the weekend to carry me into the summer doldrums.
We Celtics fans have been a bit spoiled, methinks ... but such are the rewards of fandom, reaped from the greatest sports franchise on earth. We learn to live with it.
