After what I saw last night in the 2nd Half
which was blatant favoritism for OKC by
the officials which easily resulted in 5-10
points worth of swing, knowing how much the
NBE is marketing OKC - you figure it out.

If Stern is going to mandate anything, it would be the Heat meeting them.

Once the NBA has the team into the final, I don't think it matters as much which one wins.  They already got their ratings.

100% agree.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Yes...though they may massage the series to at least 6 games if they can.

That was atrocious refereeing  last night. I would be livid if I was a spurs fan. Nothing to egregious just complete and utter inconsistency with the fouls. What were fouls on the spurs weren't fouls on OKC

Man id love to get some of that love tonight but that will not happen

I didn't watch the second half of last night's game, but the Spurs were getting all the calls in the first half. So really don't know what went on in the 2nd half that was so bad, particularly with the context of how the first half was handled.

I was distracted during the 2nd half so I didn't really notice the refereeing that much, but in the 1st half the Spurs were getting EVERYTHING.

That said, the way the Spurs were playing I'd find it hard to believe they could blow that lead without significant help from the refs. It's too bad what might have been a classic game was marred by the reffing.

agreed. lets just say im happy we're at home though, I don't think the refs are going to call an overly biased game in Boston. They really heard it after game 2 and it hasnt been bad since then even with our comeback and to my surprise even in Miami last game. I don't think the games gonna be called badly tonight, for reasons such as home court advantage, the backlash of game 2, and the rise of Rondo. Yep we're all forgetting this one, the publicity of Rondo and a 36 year old kg putting up superstar numbers is getting the NBA ratings. Ever since his monster game 2, I just have this feeling hes starting to get superstar treatment and that means better calls for the team, since so many people are following this guy now.

Just my 2 cents

Is that why they handed the Championship to Lakers in 2010
Game 7 4th quarter on a silver platter with 26 more FT's ????????????????????
