This video was from right after Pietrus joined the team when they were struggling around .500

Finally he's coming through on his promise with the offensive rebounds in game 4 and the huge 3's in game 5!!!

PEACHES!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe this!!!

TP.

Pietrus was HUGE with those offensive rebounds in game 4 - and he found his offense tonight.

Plus, the man spent considerable time guarding Wade and Lebron, too.

TRUE CELTIC.

Pietrus is invaluable to this team right now, particularly against the Heat.  Shows you why Danny got Jeff Green last year - we need guys who can man-up Lebron and still give us something on the offensive end.  He has struggled all playoffs with his shot but he found it last night.

As Doc says..."gravy"

What does Jeff Green have to do with it?  Right now, I take Pietrus over Green in a second.  He's a better defender and has hustle like Posey as well as a 3-point shot.

Jeff Green has the athleticism and strength to keep up with LeBron James.

To people who don't like Jeff Green, I think you'll eat your words. With Rondo and time with the time, I think he's going to pull a Bradley.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
He was HUGE. It seems like he has this thing where he just shows up in the PLayoffs.

Remember the We Believe Warriors of '07 where he was good.

That Magic run where he was just hitting 3 bombs.

And now for us.

Air France baby!

I can't help but admitt this fact. I often think back to when
BOTH  Pietrus and BASS played at Orlando and how I wished they could be role players on the Celtics.

They are a good fit .Right attitude and good skills and humble.

I don't dislike Jeff Green but he hasn't shown me (yet) that he can do what Pietrus has done in this series, and MP has been clutch like that when he was with Orlando as well.

When the C's drafted Green, I've felt is was the "safe" pick, a guy that would be a good, steady NBA player, but not a big star.  I do agree he will fit well with Rondo and Bradley in the up-tempo game, but I don't know if he can ever be a great defender.  JMHO.
