Postgame comments: KG clearly loves the Celtics fans

Loved the push-ups thing ... he went to the parquet hard, was in some pain, and did it to pump himself and the crowd up.

Just KG being KG ... some people don't like his unusual style and unique intensity, but I'm in awe of it and his no-apologies approach to life.

I'm the same in many ways, so I appreciate where he's at and where he's from. Take it or leave it, that's who he is ... personally, I'm glad he's on our side.

The pushups are why almost everyone who is not a Celtics' fan or player dislikes him and why Celtics' fans love him. And, that is the way KG wants it. I thought the whole thing was silly, but it got the crowd pumped up. I forgot about it 2 minutes after it happened.

Spoelstra said that part of the reason they had trouble in the first half of G3 was because the Garden was so loud that they couldn't hear the plays getting called out.

Personally I thought the pushups were corny. I was at a bar (that I will go to for the remainder of the Celtics games because its good luck now) when it happened, and when KG started doing the pushup routine someone said "That's dumb and annoying. That's why I hate KG"

"That's what he was going for." I responded.

Dude was probably a bandwagon Heat, or Bulls fan. Mission accomplished.
