I'm actually really happy with the Dooling, Bradley back up options.

If KG comes back the C's need to do whatever they can to get another solid big.

I like Dooling as well. With Rondo playing most likely 35 minutes we only need someone to come in sparingly. Dooling is a great defender and actually tries hard when he is in the game. He is capable of hitting a few big shots and can get some good drives to the basket. Plus, he is a very knowledgeable veteran and can help greatly in the locker room. Works for me.

Dooling can shoot and play some D - but he is GOD AWFUL at running the point. He kills the offense by dribbling too much and being completely unable to penetrate/dish or create his own shot.

I'll take a look at felton - or play Moore more (more Moore?)

I can't see how Felton would politely accept a backup role in Boston, given how he poisoned the locker room in Portland this year because he felt Nate McMillan wasn't giving him enough minutes. Questions of ability/talent aside, Felton is not worth the risk to team chemistry.

For the role of backup to Rondo, I think the good soldier Dooling, for all his warts, is a much better fit than Felton.

Felton was rumored to be one of the leaders of a player mutiny against Nate McMillan.
shame on portland for letting mcmillan go
as long as we have pierce we can get away with backup point guards like dooling, bradley or moore, i'd also be fine with marquis back at end of bench for a price, if he can play like he did , most of this year/nearly all he was bad
