Pretty much the Atlanta Starters were very good maybe minus Joe Johnson.

If they get that kind of production we will have close games but i don't forsee all of our guys playing like crap.

One thing we need to do tomorrow...FEED KG THE ROCK!!!

I don't care who is on him there is nobody on that team that can guard him. I'm really hoping for a big night out of him and hoping he's going to be getting close to 20 shots. I could def see a 10-18 24 point 12 rebound kinda night outta KG

I'll take a 50% Paul Pierce playing SF over a 100% Marquis Daniels, a 70% Mickael Pietrus or a 50% Ray Allen playing SF every day and twice on Sunday.

People, he was giving it his all. He wasn't lacking effort or heart. The man was hurt.

Don't think anyone was questioning that so far. Just saying he looks a little bit beat up. Maybe a step behind too, due to this, but no ones questioning the Captains heart. He embodies what it means to be a Celtic.

I'm not going to point fingers but I am pretty sure there was at least one or two people questioning the Captain's effort and when you do that in the playoffs, I think you question his heart.

Also, the game thread last night disgusted me with so much of the Pierce criticism given what he means to this team, that he almost singlehandedly won the most important game of this series, and that he is obviously playing while hurt.

So, maybe its just hitting a sore spot but I do think there was one or two posts here that slammed Pierce a little too hard.

  • Intensity!!!
And an extra step-or-two on every drive to the basket.

Wow, never saw as many non-traveling calls as i did tonight with Horford!

That said, we gave this one away, and only have ourselves to blame.

That will not be happening on Thursday.

It amazes me how many Celtics fans there are in Atlanta, though ... it was almost like home-away-from-home!

If we can't beat this Hawks team at home in this game tomorrow then we weren't going to legitimately contend for a title. We have to be more intense, more focused, and just play harder. If we go in with the attitude that we HAVE to get it done tonight then we will. If we don't then we will be going fishing after Saturday and this will be the worst playoff collapse in Celtic history. It will also be the end of the Big 3 almost for sure.

KG: "Dude.... What is up with yo shorts?!"
