I don't think I saw a thread on this but man o man how gruesome was that injury, and how does something like that happen if he wasn't landing or anything?

these things tend to happen when you let yourself get out of shape and pretend to be able to compete with the best athletes in the world...

Not to sound like too much of a jerk but hasn't the knock on Baron Davis the past few seasons always been lack of preparedness/out of shape? Too much weight while torqueing your body seems like it could add this type of stress to the ligaments and joints to just make them snap or pop. I've never understood why teams keep takeing a flyer on this guy when he proves again and again that his offseason is dedicated to gluttony and excess.

Wow. Didn't think about this. That's a tough pill to swallow if it holds true going forward. But you gotta think it could. I mean how old is he? Plus his history of lacking motivation.. Man, what coulda been Baron. Tis a shame, we hardly knew yee.

The back injury did him in even before this injury.

A poor backup PG caliber player this season.
