Tough luck. I hope Smith will be able to play. But, with all of the injuries we've had the last four or five years, I can't feel too bad about it.

I'd be surprised if Smith doesn't play in the next game.  If he doesn't, I wouldn't be surprised if he's out for the series

What I get from this is that you're very rarely surprised.
lol

we'll know more tomorrow. if its a minor sprain, then he's probably day-to-day. if its more serious, then i think there is no way he plays friday.

I think he'll play, but if he doesn't, I'm fine with that.

He'll play..but....can't play your best ball when your thinking about an injury or tweeking it. So maybe if he's lucky he gets 10 points and couple boards instead of 25 and 10 rebounds

I heard an analyst say that he'd be gimpy on the knee throughout the game before the play banging with KG aggravated the injury. I didn't notice it but I tend to focus on the C's more than the opposition.

So it could be worse than it seemed at the time.

Just to clarify the whole KG bumped smith or didn't touch him, NBA TV and CSNE were showing 2 different plays where they claimed he got injured.

NBA TV showed KG hit Smith with his hip in one play at some point in the 4th that they said he for injured on.

CSNE showed a lay up attempt that Smith missed (KG altered shot but didn't appear to touch him) and he came up hobbled and immediately left the game.

I figured the injury came up on the play before he left the game the one CSNE showed.

Im assuming Smith will mention if and what particular play it happened on
