Can you imagine if some of these guys played in the 80's or earlier.  It's physical, kg does vet things to gain an advantage  but he is (generally) not dirty.  Imagine Dave Cowens boxing some of these "pros" out now, guys would be sent into the stands and crying about it.

Garnett would have been neutered by an enforcer for his antics in the Cowens days.  He'd have been as good a player.  But there is no way he gets away with the constant yapping and cheapshots back then.
