In my opinion...if Doc starts Avery Bradley, yes. If he starts Ray no. If he starts Pietrus I don't know.

Its possible. Boston so far has played Miami really well in the first two games. Yeah they lost the first one, but they came back to almost pull it off with out PP, and this time around blew them out with out tow key players.

Unless Miami has been playing possum, its as good as anyones.

They have a reputation for coasting. We don't know what goes on in their heads. Coach Spo keeps trying to spin their wins and losses without really saying anything useful.

I don't think who starts at the two guard spot will be the determining factor.

I am of the opinion that if Rondo, Pierce, and Garnett can keep balling the way they have been lately, and stay in that groove they've found together, that we have a good shot against anyone.

The Heat are definitely dangerous.  If you start turning the ball over and let them get out and run and have fun, then you are in for an ugly night.  Luckily, the Cs are scrappy, and don't let a loud dunk or two by the opposition take the wind out of their sails.

Rondo can befuddle that team, and I think he has shown the ability to get into Lebron James' head a little bit.  It takes a smart basketball team to start to wear away at the cracks and get that team questioning themselves.  Fortunately, we have the smartest team in basketball.

  • GOT IT!!!
it would be tough and I have a hard time seeing them beat miami in a 7 game series, but lets be honest. did any of us see Dallas beating them in the finals last year?? and what we did to the heat last sunday was very similar to how the Mav's played them last year. just substitute Dirk for Rondo.

I think we are better equipped to go up against the Heat this year..Health bearing of course.

besides the fact that we had rondo on one arm...last year who did we have at center?? JO and BBD?? KG and Steimsma is a better center rotation...and throw in bass as well and we have a better big's rotation to clog the paint.

also, last year we didnt really have any defensive Wings to throw at Wade/Lebron....espeically Wade...he was the one who really killed us in that series. Now, we can throw Bradley and Pietrus at him to hopefully keep him in check.

I pretty much agree with this. As crazy as it sounds I'd rather the C's play Miami over Chicago. The Heat frontcourt is weak compared to the Bulls. C's would be the underdogs but no one in the East wants to play Boston. Too much pride and heart.

There is a chink in armor outside of age though. That being Brandon Bass on defense.

We did beat the Heat ... that kind of answers the question, doesn't it? ;)

If we played like we did on Sunday and have been for the most part of late, we can beat anyone.

True. I guess now the more appropriate question is... Can we beat the Spurs...

We'll see tomorrow night, and then, hopefully, again in June.
