People complain a lot about Rondo's consistency, but as long as he can facilitate the offense and keep finding people who are ready to score, the fact that his scoring or rebounding comes and goes doesn't really matter.

Rondo is an elite facilitator -- perhaps the best in the league.  If he's filling that role consistently, and the team is doing well as a result, there's no room for complaint in my mind.

I still think Rondo has it in him to break Stockton's single season assist per game record, though it may not come until after the team has been restocked with some young talent that can run the floor with him.

Neh, I think it is a combination of being worn down, which is preventing him from attacking the basket as much, the general boredom of this point in a long season keeping him from attacking more, and Rondo realizing the KG and Pierce are hot hands right now, and that he is better off feeding them as long as they are hot.
I see what youre saying but don't like this in that the season is winding down we need him to ALSO be in attack mode. We need to build good habits. In the playoffs teams will trap Paul/KG/Ray or their matchup might just be better than them he's gotta score the ball.

I thought this year that was going to be his emphasis on getting to the rim. It never happens and well probably pay for it with an early exit.

When, in Rondo's career, has he ever not brought it for a play-off series? I'm not worried. When the playoffs come around we will see the triple-double machine we all know and love.

He's at a career high for FTA/gm, and it was higher earlier in the season, so you could say the emphasis was there.
