Rondo gets 2-game suspension while Noah gets nothing for same offense!?

Someone please fill me in on why this is the case.

Noah throws the ball at the referee much like rondo does AND says two F-bombs at the ref while hes at it and receives no suspension, while rondo gets a two game sanction?

Maybe because Rondo did it on national tv? Idk lol

As was pointed out by ESPN when Rondo got the suspension, Rondo has a past history of offenses. Suspensions are typically only handed out for 1) really bad offenses (Bynum) or 2) a repeat of a relatively minor offense. In this case, Rondo is the latter.

League officials even said at the time that it wasn't because what Rondo did was that big of a deal, but because of league rules about multiple offenses. That wasn't the first time Rondo had done that. This is the first time Noah had done it. Simple.

So take off the tin-foil hats, eh?

Supposedy Rondo had been warned about throwing the ball at an official before, thus making it not his first offense of this nature.

That's the rationale I've gathered for Noah just apologizing and getting no suspension.

  Rondo's a great passer, Noah could always argue that he was throwing the ball to someone else and it went to the wrong guy.
