Hornets sign Chris Johnson off waivers

The New Orleans Hornets announced today that they have claimed former LSU Tiger Chris Johnson off of waivers. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not announced. The 26-year old center was waived by the Portland Trail Blazers on Mar. 15.

any chance they are signing a big man because they are going to buy out Kaman? Probably not ,  but we can dream for a few more days

I don't think New Orleans buys out Kaman.  How much will other owners Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. and complain if they buy out Kaman, he joins the Heat, and his presence helps push them to the title?  Wouldn't you be absolutely livid if you were, say, the Bulls? 

The NBA's *got* to get out of the franchise-owning business.  Too many conflicts.
