Meanwhile this forum is feverishly posting rumours about "Big Men" (I use quotes because they are all Big Men in name only) who are all getting cut by teams that stink or have been out of work all year or been toiling in the D-League.

I know we are capped out because of the salaries of KG, PP, RA and Rondo. I know that Jeff Green's horrible ailment shot us in the foot before the season even started. I know that an old team tends to go out this way, injured and a step slow.

Still, I am just a little frustrated by the way it has played out. We have two picks and a ton of money next year but I wish there was someone other than Rondo I saw on the team that looked like they could be special. Would love to see JaJuan Johnson get some run so we can see what we have there.

I am proud of this team, it is still great to watch their heart and obvious basketball acumen and skill. Watching them look slow and get creamed on the boards however has been horrid all year.

Where do we go from here?

We wait for posts to start showing up saying, "what did you expect Danny to do,"? or, "Danny did the best he could given the situation," etc. etc. etc.  How long has it been since this team has had a real center that can play more than 3 or 4 games without going down injured?

You'll see, we'll get a couple of big men to shore up our depth and go to war in the playoffs. Whatever happens, happens.

This team, with all the age and injuries, has to play almost perfect basketball....but we haven't come close to perfect basketball...yet we are still right in the thick of things.

I am proud of this team being able to stay this afloat.
