This team has me torn!!

At times they look to be turning the corner, but then a game like tonight reminds me of their glaring limitations.

They are strictly a jump shooting team.  (A great one at that!)

It's just not enough especially in crunch time when you need to at least dump it inside to force a double team or mess up a defense.

Worst rebounding Celts team I can remember in the past 30 years.. 

These 2 obstacles are too big to go anywhere.  Even when we won the championship they weren't great in those two areas.  Leon Powe was one guy who could actually get an offensive board and get to the line in the paint.

I wouldn't say they are great at jumpshooting. After all, their offense blows and it clearly shows. When their jump shooting gets cold, it gets SUPER cold.

They really need to just keep attacking the paint, which they just refuse to do at times. They did this perfectly against the Blazers and they blew them out of the court. This game... we didn't see much of the exciting Celtics.

Oh, and Paul Pierce really stank it up against both matchups against the Lakers. Artest is definitely in this guy's mind.

Exactly the topic I was going to make.

I just cant decide as to whether I think they should give the young guys an opportunity and bring in some youth or give this one more shot.

They need to bring in someone that can at least give them a presence inside though. At the moment its just unworkable.

Dont get your hopes up, we havent won a title since 2008. Every team has gotten better, and we have gotten alot worse every year.

All good things come to and end.

Root for the team and enjoy watching their final year together as a group, thats all I can say.

We basically dont have a bench either due to lack of talent and injury, so with that said i think pretty much everyone around here knows we arent winning a title this year and just wants to enjoy watching the team when it plays well.
