It is looking like nobody is going to meet Danny's asking price for Rondo or any of the Big Three.

Not expecting a big trade. A smaller trade or two, yes.

Or, with the decimation of the front court, Danny is back flogging Big Three sales again instead.

I'm thinking Ray Allen lands in Indiana.  Bird knows how important Reggie Miller was to those teams, even at the end of his career; Ray Allen would do the same, assassin off the bench and an extremely well-respected veteran voice.  I know Indy doesn't *need* a shooting guard, but sure seems like they could use a veteran leader like Ray to help them in the playoffs.

Indy has the cap room, so they wouldn't *have* to send back any players.  Ray expires, so they'll still have cap space after the season.

Just seems like it would be a natural fit, even more than Chicago or the Clippers.

But, I don't expect Pierce to go.  I don't expect KG to go.  I don't think Rondo goes; they put his name out there to light a fire under his ass, mostly.  Danny won't get an All Star in return, so Rondo will stay.

Maybe a small deal here or there to clear up a roster spot/bring in a big, but I don't think there will be much that happens in the end.  Get something in exchange for Ray, that's about it.

I don't believe Danny is "disengaging" in talks, per se; I just believe teams have stopped calling because they aren't really close on value.
