LA gets the PG they want and Cleveland gets something for Sessions who is gone at the end of the season anyway

Minnesota gets the scorer they want and a true 2 guard and Portland gets a PG who they have looking for.

Portland sends: Gerald Wallace and Nolan Richardson
Orlando sends: Ryan Anderson and JJ Redick

Portland gets something for Wallace as he is leaving at season's end a gets a nice young PF in the deal that can shoot and a very good complimentary piece in Redick. Orlando gets someone they think they can resign and add to Howard if he resigns there.

Dallas sends: Brendan Haywood and Shawn Marion
Dallas receives: Chris Kaman

Indiana sends: Danny Granger and Tyler Hansborough
Indiana receives: Brendan Haywood and Shawn Marion

Yes, this is a blow it up trade for Dallas but it gets rid of the salary they need off the books to get Howard and Williams. Indy gets some veteran presence for a real playoff run and some defensive help at the SF and C positions. New Orleans gets much sought after local boy Danny Granger to pair with Gordon and their two lottery picks from this upcoming draft.

The first 2 deals make sense, and I think are realistic.

The 3rd one makes some sense, and I think it is the type of deal Orlando would do...but I think it would blow up in their face, since they would be giving up so much shooting, which they need around Howard.

The last deal doesn't work for Indy though.  If they are giving up Granger, they need to get more back than Marion's slowly decaying carcass (OK, he's not that bad, but he is clearly on the decline) and Haywood's terrible contract.

I think Cleveland need a first round pick to part with Sessions. Otherwise, they should just hold onto Sessions.

I don't think Orlando should trade R.Anderson and JJ Redick for Gerald Wallace. They have been overly tied to that 4 out 1 in offense over the last few years and G.Wallace simply doesn't fit into that system. If they were to trade R.Anderson, it will be for someone who provides dribble penetration.

I think the final deal sucks for both Dallas and Indiana and under no circumstances should, or would, either team contemplate making that trade. Dallas do not need to trade Shawn Marion before the deadline. They'll be able to move him in the summer. Doing so before then is completely unnecessary.

And in ALL mocks he appears between 15-20 pick range. Our range.

Next year we can have a great and young backcourt with Marshall and Gordon. Bring back Jeff Green. Keep the Big 3 and Kaman.

If you're going to blow it up and not contend this year, then don't move just Rondo, move the old 3.

Moving Rondo, who fights through pain, for Gordon and Kaman that have health issues, is iffy at best.  Also, relying on Bradley and Moore as your PGs is going to get this team killed in the playoffs--if they get that far.

I can see the attraction of getting a good young PG in the next draft but that player won't be able to really contribute while Gordon and Green (assuming he signs) are in their primes.  Add in the fact that Kaman is a FA next year so what did we really gain except Gordon for Rondo which to me is a real step backwards.
