Looks like there's some unrest in Portland (see below.)
Man, between Jamal Crawford, Gerald Wallace and even Marcus Camby (yes he's old but good for defense and rebounds) the Celtics would possibly really cash in. I've got to think the only untouchable guy in Portland is Lamarcus Aldridge.

What does everyone think?

"Team president Larry Miller told The Oregonian’s Joe Freeman that the management team will take a “hard look” at improving the Blazers as the March 15 trading deadline nears. But it is unclear whether the Blazers have a grand plan.

In other words, a season once filled with so much hope has shifted toward a season that now feels like a major transition period. It doesn’t feel like (coach Nate) McMillan will be back next season. And it doesn’t feel like (Marcus) Camby, (Gerald) Wallace, (Raymond) Felton or (Jamal) Crawford, all with contracts that can be terminated at the end of the season, will be back, either.

Swirling amid all the roster uncertainty is McMillan, who is under contract for one more season after this one. It is clear he is not reaching this team, or probably more accurately, that certain members of the team have tuned him out and are not playing for him.

To save his job, McMillan probably needs not only to make the playoffs, but reach the second round. Right now, this team has given little to no evidence it is capable, or willing, to do that.

I'd take Felton, Wallace, and a pick for Rondo and the JO's corpse.

They'd be fools if they fire Nate McMillan.

not sure if serious.

LA LaMarcus Aldridge is probably untouchable. Next best thing is Nicola Batum. Give them 1st round pick for him.

I think that Felton and Wallace is no better a pair than Bass and Peitrus, which I don't think many would trade Rondo for.

What would it take to get Nic Batum?
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I've got to disagree. Gerald Wallace is a very good player and a starter where Pietrus (as good as he's been) is typically a bench player that can start in a pinch. As for Brandon Bass, he's a power forward so not sure what this comparison is coming from.

Regarding Ray Felton, I actually like him as a player and feel he's very underrated. Is he better than Rondo? No, not at all. However, would I move Rondo to net Felton and Wallace together? Yes. With that line up, you could have Wallace either start at SG or SF and have either Ray or Paul come off the bench. I think Wallace would pose a much bigger threat to the likes of Carmelo, Lebron and Luol Deng.

Don't hate it. I doubt Portland hates it either. I imagine they'll try to unload Felton though.

Felton's a below average player. I'd rank the four Wallace, Bass, Pietrus, Felton. Rondo is significantly better than any of them.

You would think that Boston could do a hell of a lot better than that return for an all star point guard...

Exactly.  I think we're a contender with this trade.

Felton/Bradley/Moore
Pietrus/Ray/Quisy/Dooling
Pierce/Wallace/Pavolvic
Wilcox/Bass/JJJ
KG/Steimsma

Could use to get another big at Dooling's expense, but that group could get up and down the court or grind it out, plenty of shooters, good size at each position, good balance of defense and scoring on each unit, plenty of multi-position players to create match-up advantages...Just need a little more beef in the middle for spot minutes.  Sweetney?

You've got two players that are capable of playing at an all-star level, below average starters at three spots and 3 decent bench players.
