great d don't matter if you can't get secure the defensive rebound.

Considering the Celtics are giving up less than 90 points a game, I'm going to have to disagree with you. It's quite the opposite: defensive rebounding doesn't matter if you let the ball go in the basket.

and were doing that with  wilcox or jo, bass, jjj, or steamer on the floor!
don't get me wrong, i'd love to get howard back for rondo but it ain't gonna happen. Jefferson would improve our rebounding, give us a much needed low post presence and would't be much of a down grade defensively compared to the other guys we're playing at 5.
by acquiring jefferson we get to see how the high/low post combo with kg works and at worst his contract is up after next season.
