I think the Celtics should just sit Rondo, and hold him off.

He can only risk injury, pout, play pathetic games like last night.

He's not going to be here, and it's just a matter of time.  Put the guy on the [dang] bench.

But then when we did move him he would have less value and we wouldn't get as much

CB Draft: Memphis Grizz

His value can only get worse as is, unless he goes out there and has a triple double.  But with how much of a baby he is, do you really see that?  I don't like these next few games at all for Rajon.  He wants out of here at this point, and I see him sulking and dogging it.

I laugh when people talk about how a player can change his trade value with a game or just a few games. The simple fact is these GMs don't evaluate talent on a night to night, game to game basis. GMs will evaluate Rondo based on his history, not on what he does in one game or a group of games.

GMs will look at long term development, long term health, long term patterns, his surrounding cast of players. Rondo's value is set in the minds of every GM in this league. Some will value him higher than others but unless he gets seriously hurt, his value isn't changing because of a bad or good game or streak of games.

The notion is that having a good or bad game is going to effect his value is absurd.

That's not what I meant I was saying that benching a player because he's being a distraction wouldn't help his value.

Exactly. You are right. Its not gonna help his value. I agree.

So you might as well play him and help win games.

If Rondo plays and doesn't get a triple double, his value will decrease: way to set the bar low!
