I would offer a 1 year for a max of 2M.
If he can play, let's wait for the 2013 summer to offer a bigger contract

The Celtics shouldn't even be thinking about Oden until the team decides if it is rebuilding or reloading (which it won't until it knows for sure whether or not Dwight Howard will come to Boston, and perhaps not even then).

If Oden were projected to be healthy at the start of next season, I'd prefer Jermaine O'Neal at the minimum salary if you're looking to fill the role of backup center.

If healthy, as a backup I would choose Oden.

Thread over: Blazers release Armon Johnson to make room for Przybilla. (Was there really any doubt?)

He's never been healthy, guys.

He's worth no more than the VET MIN.. NOTHING MORE. Even then he's a waste of a roster spot.
