OK guys this is not an 'I told you so' or revelation, but rather just a thought that came to my mind over the last couple of days.

in 2007, the Cs acquired Ray and KG and won the title the same season (2008). In the process, they knocked out Lebron, Joe Johnson and co, the old Pistons and Kobe.

2009- Orlando knocks out a shorthanded Celtics team; Kobe wins

2010-  Lakers get their revenge against the Cs after they get past Miami, Cleveland, and Orlando. In that offseason, Lebron joins forces with D-Wade.

2011- Miami get their revenge.

2012-

I am not trying to stir up anything but we have to look at how other teams adjusted their squads based on what the Cs did a few years ago and how it has had an impact. I'm pretty sure that if the Cs don't knock out LBJ the second time, we're not looking at the same NBA landscape (I am not even trying to look into that).

But if we do believe in cause and effect, we need to be prepared to see the results of actions.
