Would New Jersey deal Humphries and the rights to Bojan Bogdanovic for Jermaine, Dooling, Moore, the Clippers pick, and the return of their 2014 2nd-rounder?

9-man playoff rotation

C- Garnett
PF- Humphries
SF -Pierce
SG -Allen
PG - Rondo

C- Wilcox
PF - Bass
SG/SF - Pietrus
PG - Bradley

We'd also be landing one of the best Euro prospects in the game, and it would make up for the Clips 1st-rounder.

Note: Humphries would have his Bird status reset (if he agreed to this trade) and will be viewed as a non-bird free agent this summer.

While I am a fan of getting better rebounding, I am not a fan of trading 2 young players for an expiring contract that can and will walk after this year. Also, I don;t think KG can be a full time C at his age, which will have to happen if this trade happens.

Fair enough.  It would really only be like losing one young player though, as Bogdanovic is only 22 and very talented.

New Jersey would have absolutely no incentive to do this.

I guess obtaining two picks in a deep draft=No incentive.

The 20-25th pick of the draft is not likely to be anywhere near as good as Humphries.

Humphries is a FA at year's end, and there's no guarantee that he returns.  They will at least receive a few picks to build for the future.  Additionally, that 20-25 pick is equivalent to a 12-15 pick in most years.
