Been thinking maybe the Big 3 has another 2 years left in the window, especially if they got help up front.  Gasol could really help ease the transition of KG into more of a role player off the bench (Bill Walton 1986)

Here is the trade:

Boston out:  Rondo, Jermaine
Boston in: Gasol, Vasquez

LAL out: Gasol, Blake, 1st round pick
LAL in: Rondo, Kaman

NOH out: Kaman, Vasquez
NOH in: Jermaine, Blake, LAL 1st round pick

Vasquez isnt the best pg, but he is big and he has been playing well this month.

Target Kendall Marshall in the draft for next season.

This year, you are trusting Vasquez to man the point with Dooling or Bradley spelling him.  Its a tall task, but when you are on the court with KG, Gasol, Pierce, and Ray, well thats not a bad deal.

Next year, you add Marshall at PG and now you are really rolling.

Marshall Vasquez Bradley
Allen    Moore/Dooling
Pierce  Pietrus
KG   Bass/Jajuan
Gasol   Wilcox?   Stiesma

No need to bring back Daniels/Pavlovic.   Maybe target Draymond Green with the other 1st round pick for a backup SF or Tony Wroten for a backup SG.

Give up a younger in the prime Rondo for a past the prime Gasol? NO!! I'm so glad you are not the GM of the C's and make decisions. You are basically helping the Lakers win now and in the future.

Man I really dislike threads like these and fans who wanna jump ship when things get bad. Count me out I rather keep Rondo than get a over the hill Gasol. Now if you talking about his younger brother Marc than maybe I would consider it!
