Pierce is the C's Leader. When he plays hard, all the C's seem to play hard. The other C's seem to think they have a chance to win the game when Pierce is going all-out so it's worth caring that much that particular night. The C's may or may not be good enough to make noise in the playoffs (assuming they make it and Ainge doesn't trade the Core Four) and have a slim chance at the Championship, but Pierce is the Celtics right now. Salute the Leader.

He took a 3 late in that 4th quarter when we were up 6. My brother says "Bad shot", I say "Well he's gotta be a little tired after running every single play in that quarter"

Pierce and KG played liked warriors tonight. KG as usual won't get the credit he deserves but I thought he impacted the game dramatically tonight as well

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
A Paul Pierce lead team has never seen an insurmountable lead.

The man has heart.

Where Paul Pierce goes, so goes the Celtics.. That's why they call him the Captain!
That's been the trend for this season so far.. Hopefully, he won't run out of gas in the playoffs..

Tonight reminded me of an Eastern Conference playoff game with NJ.  Boston game back from being something like 25 down or something. Pierce let the charge there.  When he's feeling it he is something special..

The Celtics teams have been part of quite a few great comebacks over the last 10 years and Pierce is the common denominator of those comebacks.

What a player, what a warrior, what a Captain! 8)
