I don't care who is in or who is out, this team is not a good team what so ever. It blows my mind to see how bad this team has fallen off. Changes need to be made. Steve Nash is the only name on this team that a regular fan would recognize. Yet there are good players on the Suns, are they better then the players on the Celtics? The answer is no. But our old age formula simply does not work. It's time to change things up. We are on year five of a three year plan. Get what we can for our stars. I'd like to keep Pierce so he can retire a Celtic. If Danny truly believes he can get FA's to commit to the Celtics then let the season ride out and let the contracts expire and lets see what the draft and free agency brings us.

sadly there aren't many FA coming this year.
Love will stay, DH doesn't fancy Celtics, I don't know who else worth pursuing..DW? Mayo? Kaman ? B Lopez?

  • Rondo = Good
Now that Ray, Pierce, and KG are basically overpaid role players?  No, we can't beat the Suns without Rondo.

We would have won if Pierce was 100%.  Not that it matters.  The Suns are a below average team.  Not that hard to beat them.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Sign OJ Mayo, Brook Lopez, and Jeff Green. Draft either Jeremy Lamb or Michael Gilchrist with our lottery pick and Quincy Miller with the Clippers pick,

Rondo  Moore    Bradley
Mayo    Lamb
Green   Pierce
Bass     JJJ
Lopez  Steisma   Draft Pick

Develop young talent and if there is a chance to move them for a star player, you go for it. Enough with these old boring slow one dimensional players. This team needs a fresh start/legs

This excuse is getting old real fast.... Well we woulda won if we had Pierce. We woulda won if Pierce was in shape. We would won if Pierce was 100%.... But we didnt win any of those games. All talk, Im looking at actions, and there isnt much to back it up.

To be fair, we were playing without a PG.  There are not many teams that would be successful under those circumstances.

It really not matter if we have Rondo or not. This is not a good team. It should not matter about Pierce either saying he is not 100 percent is saying he is not 28 anymore. These are the players we have. And yes we need to draft for the future and at the same time for now. Which is something we have never done. I like the names you have mentioned, I think we could rebuild quickly thorough the draft and signing big names but not stars because they would rather play for teams like the nets. Celtics hold a higher standard for their players which i think will transform a guy like Oj Mayo into a star.

Celtic basketball is more than just about losing now...its poor quality and very low value .

Losing is one thing.  But, this club is so weak and old they have trouble putting on an entertaining show.

People will stop comming to games , ect , if the quality of play doesn't increase soon.

It looks like a pickup game by a bunch of retired ex NBA stars...

I'm already viewing the games I'm going to this year as automatic losses. The only value in them is a "night out" and a "change of pace" from the usual routine. Dwight Howard certainly ain't coming here after seeing how old the complementary players are, not including Rondo if Boston even had a chance over NJ, NY and Dallas, his "Preferred Destinations" in the first place. Trade the Big 3 if Ainge can get and Expiring Contract and a decent Draft Pick.

My point was that the excuse didn't matter.  We're not as bad as the Suns (despite the loss), but that doesn't mean we're good.

I'm not even sure we would have been able to beat the Suns _with_ Rondo.
