My dream scenario involves something like:
The Celtics acquire Pau Gasol (with Kobe Bryant publicly criticizing Gasol's play) as part of a multi-team mega deal that facilitates Dwight Howard or Kevin Love going to the Lakers.
LeBron James throws a fit after failing to win a title again and insists either he or Wade has to go. Heat management backs James and Wade ends up a Celtic in a deal that involves a Ray Allen sign-and-trade.
The Celtics end up with a core of Rondo, an aging Pierce, Gasol, and Wade.
The Celtics stick it to Kobe and LeBron by winning a title with teammates they discarded, while showing that youth for the sake of youth is silly and you can win with a veteran core.
It would never happen, which is why it is a dream scenario.
