Yeah, Marquis seems to be really pressing so far this season.  I think he has kind of lost his timing.  He is rushing a lot of shots that he normally hits.  I hope this is just another effect of the lockout, and as he gets more comfortable, we will see more of the smooth player he has been in the past.

In the games we saw before the season he looked unbelievably smooth and his timing was as good as ever.

People seem to forget this is MARQUIS DANIELS.  He's not doing anything different from what he's been doing all his career.  He's simply the epitome of inconsistency (honestly one of the worst compared to other rotation players).  Out of every 5 to 10 games he'll give you one impressive performance, surprise the heck out of people, and convince them to stay a fan of his for another 5 games. 

Even if he somehow manages to put together his first healthy season like many here think he will, we probably won't get anymore than the usual 5 points and 1 assist out of him.

I genuinely think he has been hurt more than anyone by the eratic rotation, and guys not knowing the plays.  He is reminding me of his first year in Boston, where he was clearly not comfortable in the system.  I think if everyone settles in a little more he can be very good, but he needs to build some chemistry with guys, and they need to all learn how to play together.

Somebody in the second unit will have lose minutes with Pietrus in the rotation.  If not 'Quise, then it would most likely be Bradley.  I think Doc has orders from DA to play Bradley for at least the start of the season to either develop him or (maybe possibly but not likely) increase his value enough to fool some idiot team to trade for him midseason.  Obviously, Bass and Wilcox keep their roles and Dooling is the only backup PG.  That leaves Quise as the odd man out.

I doubt that 'Quis is the odd man out.  I don't think that Danny mandates playing time to Doc or how he should run his rotation.  I think if anyone loses minutes it will be young Avery.  On the other hand, I think Pietrus himself may have to work his way into the rotation and won't necessarily be thrown 15 to 20 minutes from the get go.

Yeah, I agree fully with mgent, Marquis Daniels has been one of the most inconsistent players in the NBA throughout the his career.

Well, he's putting together a prolonged period of terrible shooting.  13 of 48 from the field (6th on the team in shot attempts), shooting worse than any rotation regular, even Avery Bradley.  Every other statistical measure is in line with his career averages.

We're getting the wrong kind of consistency from Marquis.
