Getting Pierce and Pietrus will certainly help with spreading the floor and getting some more offense from the outside. Ray and Dooling are the only guys right now giving us any offense from outside. The only other reliable shooter on the floor at any point is Bass, and his range only extends so far. So Pierce and Pietrus will certainly help a lot. But you're right, a big part of the problem is that the C's have no inside presence at all. KG is a shell of his former self and JO is a non-factor on the offensive end. Neither KG nor JO finishes inside unless left wide open.

It's been 3 games. KG was solid in NY. He was gassed last night. KG being a shell of himself is still a top ten PF in the NBA. The guy is arguably a top 3 PF EVER!!!

The fact that people were gassed after the third game of the season is, in itself, a reason for concern.
