I'm absolutely convinced that the posters wanting a trade for a point guard have not been watching this team play.

Can we please manage to get a FA like Kevin Love to come here? If   Deron was willing to come here and the Nets were willing to trade him for Rondo you do it, but like others have said we should stop focusing on trading Rondo and just pray that a big name ends up coming here.

Getting a PG is the least of our worries right now. Rondo is a better PG than Westbrooke and Deron isn't enough to cover our issues on defense or make our starters younger.

Besides the beauty of Rondo's contract is that it allows us to add a max player and another very good player and sign a decent supporting cast. Trading Rondo for a PG who wants max money only restricts our ability to create a balanced roster.

And of course I love Rondo. In my eyes he's worth all the other PGs out there combined. My heart still hurts over the Perk trade and it'd really make me sad if Rondo left too.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I think some may be enamored with getting a high profile FA, even if it is one we don't need.

PG isn't the problem.  it's actually the one position that's been a strength

Maybe we can get Jarret Jack, Emeka, Carl Landry, Bellineli, Gordon, and a top 15 protected pick working its way down to top 3 protected down the line

we send something like Rondo, Dooling, Bradley, KG, Quise, and a 2.

They get expiring contract.  We get new life.

TP. The idea that Rondo with that contract is the thing on this team that needs upgrading is laughable. Rondo, who I believe to be a player who can be built around, an essential part of this team, locked up for 5 years at such a low price is a piece you would want to move, well, that seems insane to me. Try to get a low post player, inside help. To think the adjustment on this team should come at PG just seems wildly off base.

we are definitely turning the ball over WAY too much and that is a direct reflection of PG play.

like I have said, I love watching Rondo play but he needs to get this team to take much much better care of the basketball.

and this is not a new thing, last year we had problems taking care of the basketball as well.

I'd rather see Rondo and Garnett flipped to Orlando for Howard and Nelson, and Ray Allen and Avery Bradley to Golden State for Monta Ellis.

Not happening, though.
