  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I'm still wondering what they'll do here...

PG:Kidd
SG:Vince Carter or Jason Terry
SF/PF: Dirk
SF/PF: Lamar Odom/Shawn Marion
C: Haywood

Question is, do Lamar and Vince start?
I would like to start Lamar and keep Terry as the 6th man.
I think Vince- as useless as he is these days- would give more effort being a starter on a defending champion team. If he came off the bench he'd be a lackluster disaster.
Their starting 5's size would be very annoying for opposing defenses, especially early on in the first quarter.

They are very deep now with Mahimi, Wright and Delonte off the bench. Gonna be quite dangerous if Lamar can use his size on defense.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

It sounds like they are going to start Vince plus use Lamar as a sixth man.
