Austin Rivers looks to small to make it in the NBA as a two guard.

He looks more like a big PG in the Chauncey Billups mold to me. Whoever drafts him will have to patient and give him time to grow into the position.

Nick Young!

Very effective scorer. Has greatly improved his catch and shoot game. Very efficient (due to low turnovers). Plays solid man-to-man defense but still struggles on team defense. I think he could grow a lot in that area once he gets put on a quality defensive team instead of the crap he has to play with in Washington. Working hard to become more of a team player.

Flip Saunders is trying to get him to rebound more this year and make a few more assists. We'll see if that works out or not.

Nick Young has low turnovers because he never passes the ball.
Yeah, but he doesn't dominate the ball either.

Low usage offensive player. Not in terms of that silly statistic but in terms of time spent on the ball. Gives his teammates plenty of time and opportunities to show what they can do offensively. He doesn't create for them but he doesn't impede them either.

His catch and shoot is very strong. One of the best in the league.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Nick Young by a mile.
OJ might be good, but he needs some guidance.
Taking a gamble on him might be good if you can have Ray be his mentor.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

neither.  2012 is rebuilding time, and neither Mayo nor Young is a piece I want to commit long term resources to.

Yup.  2 players I would never want to be Celtics.

Right now, both are immature knuckleheads.  I don't want either on the team.

I think Mayo has a better all-around game, but Young is probably the better pure scorer.
