They did kill the mavs. Yet there a team still hung over from a title and with ownership more concerned with 2012 FA then repeating as NBA champs. I mean Dallas still hasn't won a game as I write this.

They barely beat a Boston team without it's best wing player and best backup wing player. And the strength of the cHeat is their talent on the wing.

They beat the bobcats, arguably the least talented team in the NBA, thanks to the officials ignoring an obvious traveling call on Wade that led to the game winning basket.

Now as I write this they are down by four to the Minnesota timberwolves with two minutes to go. I expect Miami to win and be 4-0, but still I'm not impressed.

Not to mention the refs are helping them!

I'll keep it rather short and simple: I am very impressed with the Heat. LeBron James is playing like a man possessed.

I think when presented with a team they want to beat and they focus, they are indeed impressive.  I hate saying that but it's true.  Only reason C's were close is because Miami started sleepwalking each time they built a lead.  I think if PP played, Miami would have focussed more on the game.  I'd like to see them play each other when the C's have PP and Pietrus to better gauge how these teams match up.

Twolves aren't going to motivate Miami which is why Wolves are hanging in that game

I'd be impressed if the Heat beat at team while NOT being protected by the refs.

They just stole a play from the Celtics.

So no props for switching to the zone?

it was a good move by Doc but he was forced into it by the poor play of the players in the man defense.  It definitely exposed Miami for how they can be beat.  I see their outside shooting and their lack of killer instinct/focus as the only things that will derail them from a title this year.  Refs will certainly do their best to make sure Miami wins it based on how they're blatantly calling games in their favor.

I'm a Heat hater, so I'm not impressed either. :P

The Heat are the hardest team to stop in a close game late in the 4th quarter (yes, part of that is the calls they get, but that's part of the game).  You can never feel safe with anything less than an 8 point lead with less than two minutes to go.

I'd say you'd have to be foolish not to be impressed / wary of the Heat.  A team that talented is a threat every night against every team.  I expect them to win close to 55 games this season.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.
