might be sour grapes talking here, but...

anyone else find it ironic that we just ended a lockout where the whole point was for the owners to negotiate a way to help even the playing field for smaller market teams and help keep a good competitive balance throughout the league.  We lose half the season, finally come to an agreement, and before the season even starts arguably the best PG in the league gets traded to a team that's been to 3 out of the last 4 NBA Finals, with titles in 2 of the appearances.  The next domino, which everyone knows is gonna fall, is the most dominant big man since Shaq, is once again bolting from his small market team and heading to the Lakers as well.

this isnt just a bitter celtic fan talking, but if Dwight, Chris Paul, and Kobe all end up together, the NBA is really starting to shoot themselves in the foot

If they want to stop all these stars grouping together, the NBA should raise the max contract price to $35 million per season.

Hard cap and revenue sharing. And less teams.
