if this trade does go down...with all the ups and downs...it will make me feel like Red Sox nation prior to 2004...

Every really good big name Free Agent, was always scooped up by the Yankees...and in this case the FA 'put' them over the top.

feel the same way...almost like we are doormats to the Fakers - if this happens.
