It looks like last year was San Antione's last push of the Duncan era...

Back to small market mediocrity they go.

I would think that San Antonio would only amnesty R.Jefferson if they knew they were getting in a replacement small forward.

There were quite a lot of rumours about Caron Butler going there.

That'd make a lot of sense.

It's kind of miraculous what they were able to do in the regular season.. Shame that weren't able to follow that up with any playoff success.

Hmmm, I may have some interesting news tomorrow. But I need a full nights sleep first..........good night!

I wonder if San Antonio was the team Battier was talking about here. He is exactly the type of player you would imagine San Antonio pursuing.

Battier would make an excellent glue guy starting SF for their lineup. Give them a much needed high level wing defender + quality rebounding from the perimeter. He would also serve as an excellent mentor to Kawhi Leonard in the short term and would happily step aside into a sixth man role (another role where he'd flourish) allowing K.Leonard to start when the time is right.

Hmm ... I like the sounds of that. I hope that happens.
