On Point is probably my favorite talk radio show, and today they're doing an entire hour on the lockout. I've been listening for a while, and it provides a pretty nice perspective on the whole thing. They've got Ian Thompson, the mayor from OKC (for the non-NBA city view), and some guy from Tulane who I don't know.

If you can summarize their talking points here, I will give you a tommy point. My view is that it is the player agents vs the have not owners in this mess that have control over the negotiations. There are good (play pro basketball this year at all costs) and bad (shut down the year vs status quo for players) factions on both sides of the negotiating table. Billy Hunter and David Stern are just messenger boys for the media at this point (and very poor ones at that).

I probably ought to step back now before I lose my temper.
